I got an email yesterday from one of my clients from my past life as a banker. Marel started off as a client, but quickly became a friend too (that happened a lot, and was probably the BIGGEST reason I stayed in banking for 13 years…). She needed some pictures for some business slides, and wondered if I could do it. She included a snapshot of her new 11 week old maltipoo Schatzie at the end of the email.
Note to prospective clients… You can probably get me to shoot just about anything if you include a picture of your puppy at the end of your email request :). Marel didn’t need to include the picture, since I pretty much said yes after just reading the title of the email… “ready to photograph?” For you Marel? Yes, yes, yes!
This next one is the “you should take me very serious” shot. I already told Marel, when she’s famous and writes a book, this should go on the back cover!
I think she was in the middle of telling me a very serious story, and then…I made her laugh. Sorry 😉
The entire time we were shooting around Marel’s gorgeous garden, Schatzie was just running around looking too stinking cute!!
Since we caught her in the act of chewing on the deck, we figured she was bored and really just wanted to play with her mommy! Well, you can see that is just what her mommy wanted too 🙂 Marel, it was so good seeing you again after way too long! So glad I got to meet little Schatzie, and look forward to seeing you again soon 🙂
[…] Ok, there were too many names to put in the title, so I cheated. Funny how the initials all match up though, huh?? Well, except poor S. Poor Schatzie kind of got outshined this time around… The last time I went over to Marel’s house, I went over to get some head shots for her business. When I was over there, I couldn’t help but take a zillion pictures of her new puppy Schatzie. […]
