Normally, I snap pictures of dogs and cats when I’m supposed to be shooting something else.  Or, I just happen to have my camera with me, so I shoot a few random shots whenever I see them doing something cute (ok, that happens a lot!).  Yesterday, I got to shoot Dogo, for the sole purpose of shooting Dogo!  I was so excited the moment I learned he was an Argentinian Mastiff (aka Argentinian Dogo).   When I heard his story, I was even more excited.  Lissa was lucky enough to adopt Dogo after his former owner found housing that wouldn’t allow pets.  The poor thing has had to go through chemo the last 8 months (UGH, I cannot even imagine going through that with Greta!  🙁 ).  Plus, Dogo is deaf…  You would NEVER know ANY of this from meeting him.  With the exception of a few scars, he is a sweet, loveable, energetic “marshmallow” ~as Lissa put it.  It was almost hard to shoot him, because I just wanted to hug on him!  However, I did manage to tear myself away and snap some cute pics  :).
