I cannot believe Maya will be ONE…in A WEEK!!!

How did that happen?

In the last month before she turns one, she…

• Is pretty consistent with “give me five”!  She gets so excited when she does it
• Was sooooo close to crawling.  Can reach pretty far for a toy in the extended crawl reach  (48 weeks)
• Said “No.  Don’t do that.” after throwing her veggies overboard for the 3rd time~with me saying that to her each time. (49 weeks)
• Got up on all fours…didn’t move though. Next day scooted.  Next day CRAWLED!!   Yup, she’s my child.  Took her a while, then bam! (49 weeks)
• Says “Thank you” Not consistently though.  More mimics when we give things back and forth to each other.
• Kind of signed “more”
• Finally learned to get to the sitting position on her own (50 weeks)
• For the next 3 days she skipped her afternoon nap.  She was so excited about sitting up.  She’d do it and then couldn’t lay back down…
• Loves saying “DA-DOH” in the cutest high pitch voice.
• LOVES to dance!

OMG, I love that little nugget… I think it’s literally impossible to not want to squeeze her!

Here she is scooting.  And…checking out the muffins in the oven.ON THE MOVE!I usually take a bazillion pics with my phone at bath time, but braved bringing the real camera in.  Her OPO was in town
