I was very fortunate to be able to go on a 7 day cruise to Alaska this last week. I am usually not one for landscape photography, but…really…how could I not??!
There was a constant fog…which was kind of cool/eerie, yet had me frequently wondering why a lot of my pictures were “foggy”~oh…duh! 🙂
I kept thinking these looked like sugar cubes (odd, I know)! I took these through a float plane window, but you can imagine how pretty the colors are!!!
Under the docks by the float plane…
Aaaaall Aboooooard! Oh, how I loooooove trains! The curve of them, the colors, going around the tracks, the tracks themselves, the fog….I could go on and on! Instead, I just took a bunch of pictures 🙂
One of our excursions was stopping by the Klondike Gold Fields Panning show. We toured a decommissioned gold dredge, learned the history of the gold miners, and got to pan for gold (shocking that we all got some dust in our pans!!) I was fascinated by the old dredge and took most of my pictures of it…
And then came the DOLPHINS! Are you kidding me? They were just playing in our wake, and swimming right up to the ship. I must have taken 50+ pictures before I had to drag myself away. Then, I ran over to the other side of the ship just to make sure they weren’t doing anything more exciting over there 🙂
Surprisingly enough, I didn’t take THAT many pictures of my family on this trip! I did…but for me? Not so many. Here are some of my favorites… 🙂
We were at sea over Fourth of July. We didn’t get to see any fireworks, but my adorable niece still got all dressed up for the day. SO CUTE!!!! She was like a little 4th of July doll 🙂
All this was made possible by Houston’s mom and her husband Eddie…
