You will recognize Griffan and Rich from my very 1st couples shoot.  Griffan is one of my dearest friends, and we have seen each other through a lot of relationship ups and downs over the years.  When she started dating Rich almost 2 1/2 years ago, you could tell right away they were meant for each other.  I couldn’t be happier that they are getting MARRIED!!

Rich emailed me 3 weeks ago with the subject line “TOP SECRET—For your eyes only”.  We emailed back and forth over the weeks and came up with an idea to hopefully surprise Griffan with a proposal, and….get it all on camera!  I made up a story about wanting to try out a staged picnic, and asked Griffan if she and Rich would mind being my guinea pigs.  Anyone who knows Griffan will know how incredibly hard it was to keep this a secret.   I cannot even count how many times in that 3 week period Griffan bemoaned not being engaged!!! Ha ha.  Well, her wish came true.

I could go on and on, but I’m better with pictures than I am with words  🙂

P.s. This was the first shoot where Houston came along, and he ROCKED IT!
