I feel so lucky to have taken some engagement pictures for Kathi and Dan last night. We had rescheduled once, and it was touch and go all day whether or not we would get poured on. We decided to go for it, and I am so glad we did!! We had so much fun, and the clouds made for some beautiful pictures! The absolutely smitten couple didn’t hurt either 🙂 .
If the following story does not elicit an audible “AAAAWE”, then I don’t know what will…
Kathi and Dan met in high school, but lost track of each other after graduating. They met up again 30+ years later (yes, they graduated when they were 10, can you believe it??), and fell in love. After he proposed, they went to their high school and carved their initials in a tree on the grounds~AAAAWE!!
After hearing that story, I knew we HAD to go shoot there. So, we met up at Lindbergh High School, and then headed over to Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
Kathi’s daughter Teleya came along, so we got some family portraits in there too. That post will be coming shortly…
It was so great meeting you both, and I am SO bummed I will be out of town for your wedding in August! I know it will be a FUN! 🙂 Congratulations on your engagement!
