Had a bit of a set back this month… You started motoring around last month, but then got a double ear infection~not fun. That got you all out of whack, and obviously messed with your balance. BUT…after a few weeks of scooting around on your knees (and some new heavy antibiotics), you’re back!
*You’ve added a few more words to your vocabulary…apple, baa (for sheep), Sesame Street (kind of), balloon, hug, it’s ok, ball (you’ve said it before, but are now obsessed with them and see them everywhere. You were watching golf with your dad and you kept saying “ball!” and then clapping when everyone else would clap when they made the shot!)
*You’re getting really good with the iPad! We bought a case for you to use mine, and you can totally turn it on and then navigate to the pages that have your apps. You’re getting really good at a counting one, and LOVE the Pacman app. You turn it on and then dance to the music 🙂
*One of your favorite things to do is empty any basket, drawer, bin, you name it, and fling whatever is in it around. Now, you actually help me put things back in the basket, drawer, bin.
*Love to mimic. You always have, but you’re getting better at it. I cough and cover my mouth, you cough and cover your mouth. I breathe on my glasses to clean them. You breathe into your hand.
*Along those lines, you love talking on your phone (one of my old smartphones), the house phone, or even a remote. “Hello! oh…ok. jibber jabber, jibber jabber…pause…oh…jibber jabber”
Here’s a few pics from this month…
You love to just do laps around the main floor. Down the hallway, through the dining room, through the kitchen, and venturing into the living room to say hi to Max.
Love this sequence. “Really, the camera again?? Ok, I’ll come get you. Phew, this walking is hard work!”You’ve been hesitant to walk outside on the concrete, but finally did!
You just keep getting to be more fun to hang out with!
Love,
Mom
