I’ve said it before, and I will say it again.  I love shooting married couples “just because”!!  For most couples, the last professional pictures they had taken were at their wedding, or with their kids for a family portrait.  It is SO fun to just take some time as a couple, have an excuse to cuddle and goof off, and…have it captured in a picture!!  Ok, that last part was just my opinion, but it’s true!

Troy and Zuzana will be celebrating their TENTH anniversary this December!!  Yes, TEN!  In an email from Zuzana, she said~”I have never done this before, and I have a feeling I will be really ‘stiff’ ”  Um, I knew between Troy and I that would NOT be a problem  :).

I loved that they were up for just about anything.  Whenever I drive into Ballard or Magnolia, I always rubberneck (yes, it’s a word!) when I drive by the Helix Pedestrian Bridge.  When I suggested we start there, they were totally game.  What I didn’t know, was that it leads over to Myrtle Edward Park!  Oh, how I love happy accidents~score!!

I looooove this shot.  The best part about it?  It’s NOT POSED!  Zuzana was just standing there waiting for me to do something… Troy was just looking at her… So, I did something~CLICK!

As a side note.  I got POOPED on for the first time on a shoot (and since Houston actually asked…YES, by a bird!).  After my first thought of “OMG, did it get on my camera??!!”, I realized it stunk!  So, I rolled on the grass to try and get it off my shoulder.  Troy snapped these as I was attempting to get the stank off me.  🙂

Thanks guys for a totally FUN shoot!  I think we got a good holiday card here!!  🙂  P.s.  Zuzana…..stiff??  I think not  🙂
